Explota la polémica en el Ascenso Nacional. José Pardo, presidente de Deportivo Quito, denunció públicamente que recibió mensajes para intentar amañar el sorteo de los 16avos de final. Según sus palabras, el contacto ofrecía “ayuda” para que la AKD tenga una llave accesible.
“Nos llegaron mensajes que nos quieren ayudar a que tengamos una llave fácil. Bloqueamos ese contacto y lo enviamos a la Policía Nacional. Esto daña al fútbol”, advirtió Pardo.
El dirigente aclaró que el club ya trabaja con la Policía y que los jugadores han recibido charlas para blindar al plantel de estas prácticas.
Mientras tanto, el sorteo oficial se realizará este lunes al mediodía, con 32 equipos en un solo bombo y el camino directo hacia la Serie B en juego. La final única está programada para el 6 de diciembre.
Lo deportivo no se detiene, pero la sombra de la corrupción vuelve a manchar al fútbol ecuatoriano.
